Borders Book Festival

Less than one week away is the Borders Book Festival. A busy week for the Borders Writers’ Forum.

Events this week

Thursday 16th 7.30 pm Trinity Centre, Melrose, our final meeting of the 2015/16 programme. We are looking forward to Barbara Henderson’s talk on genre hopping. Free for Members , Non members also welcome @ £3 pp ( Annual membership £10).

Saturday 18th June – Open Mic event in the William Hill room of the Ormiston Institute, Melrose. Doors open 1.45pm for an afternoon of readings from various genre, poetry and prose. please come along to listen or enjoy some refreshments or if you want to book a five minute reading slot please contact hayleyemberey@gmail.com.

Sunday 19th June Noon – 1pm – BWF at the Borders Book Festival. Join nine local authors as they read extracts from their recently released publications. Tickets available from http://www.bordersbookfestival.org
