James Robertson

Version 2Award-winning author James Robertson, a writer in Scots and English, is our guest at February’s meeting.

Since publication of a short story collection in 1991, he has written more than 20 books for adults and children. His novels have won the Saltire Book of the Year and the Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year awards and James has been long-listed for the Man Booker Prize.

His latest book, Michael Marra: Arrest this Moment, celebrates the Dundonian musician, who was a personal friend.

 

The meeting takes place on Thursday, February 15, 2018, in the Lesser Hall of St Boswells Village Hall. Refreshments will be served from 7pm, with the talk due to start at 7.20pm. Non-members are welcome to attend on payment of a £3 entry fee.
