When it comes to co-authoring a book, what are the principles and practicalities of working in a partnership? Does a double act create potential pitfalls and problems?

Elspeth Turner and Donald Smith collaborated on Tweed Dales: Journeys and Evocations, a travelogue which draws on the people, events, stories and folklore of the Scottish Borders. 

Elspeth, a fomer senior lecturer in economic and social history at Edinburgh University, will join us to describe how she and Donald combined their writing to produce the book.

The meeting takes place on Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the Lesser Hall of
St Boswells Village Hall, Jenny Moore’s Road, St Boswells. Doors open at 7pm for refreshments, with the session beginning at 7.20pm. Non-members are welcome to attend and are asked to pay a £3 entry.
