A Christmas celebration

Screen Shot 2019-11-26 at 14.31.11Ready for some festive fun? Then you need to be at the BWF Christmas Night. Here’s what’s on offer:

Open Mic – Members will have the opportunity to read their work (maybe with a festive theme) in a five-minute slot. Check the Open Mic page for details on how it operates.

Book Swap – Bring along a favourite book you’d be happy to donate and swap it for another. Just add £1 to the kitty for each swap. Money will be donated to Blackwell’s
Giving Tree, which provides Christmas books for children in need.

Book Sales – Members can sell their own books at the event, with £1 from every sale going to Blackwell’s Giving Tree.

Food and drink – Bring something savoury or sweet to share in a buffet for partygoers. Drinks will be provided.

The fun begins on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 7pm in St Boswells Village Hall.

A warm welcome extends to non-members, who will be admitted free of charge. Please note that only members can read their work at the Open Mic.

Note: St Boswells Village Hall is not available on December 12, the date scheduled in the BWF programme 2019/20.
