IMG_2748In 1832, John Mackay Wilson, editor of the Berwick Advertiser, began publishing local stories. Two years later, he published the first collection, Wilson’s Tales of the Borders, and of Scotland. The weekly tales continued after his death for a further five years.

The Wilson’s Tales Project aims to bring more than 400 local stories to modern audiences. Andrew Ayre, the project’s director, will be our guest to talk about the life and works of JM Wilson and his literary legacy.
