The Borders Writers’ Forum is a friendly and supportive group for anyone in the Scottish Borders who writes or has an interest in writing. We welcome writers of all abilities, interests and genres.
Our aims are to:
- Promote and raise the profile of contemporary local writers;
- Provide a focus for writing related events in the Scottish Borders;
- Provide networking opportunities;
- Support professional development through talks, regular reading opportunities and workshops.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month from September to June. (December meeting on second Thursday). The venue is the Lesser Hall, St Boswells Village Hall, Jenny Moore’s Road (just off Main Street), St Boswells.
We meet at 7pm for refreshments and the main meeting begins at 7.20pm.
A warm welcome awaits members and visitors.
Membership – £15 per annum (September 2018 to June 2019)
Non-members – £3 per meeting (refreshments included)
